Sound Insulation

Sound insulation is the science of controlling the transmission of unwanted noise between spaces, be this airborne sound, impact noise, and any of the numerous structural and flanking paths. This applies in residential, office or educational contexts, and in more extreme industrial or entertainment environments.

We can recommend proprietary solutions to minimise design coordination and tender issues, or develop customised solutions supported with detailed sketches to meet the brief in the most materially and cost efficient manner. We have experience of working across many territories and are familiar with developing sound isolation constructions using materials that might not be standard in the UK and Europe.

We undertake site inspections to verify constructions are being installed as specified (with respect to acoustic performance), and to consider site-specific difficulties where bespoke solutions may be required to achieve the required performance.
